  The NS Junior Team had a fantastic time at their camp in Greenfield this week!   Team members now have their goals set and have their eyes on Nationals in the coming years.  Ponhook Lake in Greenfield, had excellent weather, water and hosts Rich, Annette and Kate Freeman!  Thanks folks!  Here are some pictures!   More coming soon.

  Report from Ponhook Lake, Greenfield:  The course is in and Jr. Teamer Kate got three buoys first time out!  Plans in the works to hold a Jr. Team camp in Greenfield near Bridgewater.  Beautiful course, flat calm water  and wonderful accommodations for the kids.  Should be lots of fun!

Springfield Provincial Water Ski Tournament a major success!   A little windy as the day unfolded but the sun was shining and spirits were high!  As usual the Flinn family put on a wonderful tournament with great turnout from the regulars, newcomers and, of course, the Junior Team participated with their usual enthusiasm!  Results and pictures coming soon....

 Tournament Rescheduled!
Update from Ken Flinn:  After consulting with Team Springfield's chief meteorologist, Andy Seifert, he has confirmed that it is unreasonable to hold a  tournament tomorrow (Sat, Sept 4th).  Therefore the tournament will be rescheduled for Monday, September 6th.  First skier on the water at 8:30.

In discussions withTeam Springfield's  chief meterologist, Andy Seifert, he advises that it is unlikely that there will a chance of reasonable conditions to hold a tournament on Saturday. 
Although a final decision will not be made until Friday and posted on www.nswsa.com.   Most likely the tournament will be held on Monday, September 6th.
  Brody placed 7th in slalom today (Aug 20th) at Nationals.  Congratulations on an outstanding performance at Nationals!

Great tournament hosted by the Carter Family on Miller Lake Saturday.  Day started out a little rough and as a result, slalom skiers were a little disappointed with performances.  But by afternoon, all was calm and sun was shining. Great turnout by Junior Team!   Results and pictures coming soon!

 The NSWSA Junior Team starts their biweekly sessions on Jul 2nd.  A group of about 10 young water skiers coached by Claudia Currie and is in its 3rd season.  Junior team is sponsored by NSWSA and generally includes kids who have shown an interest in competitive water skiing.  For further info contact admin@nswsa.com
  The Lake Charles Ski Devils is a member club of the NSWSA.  For two summers running, this club has operated a very popular and well attended weekly Kids' Ski Night. Free skiing and lessons for kids who are members of the Ski Devils - an idea introduced to promote the sport of water skiing.  Continuing the momentum this summer, a new group called Junior Devils will participate in weekly coaching sessions with Claudia Currie.  How fortunate the kids are to have Claudia giving them her time and expertise!

A note from Jack Robaczewski:  IMP Marine in Dartmouth now carries Polyform slalom bouys in red, yellow and green. 
Just bought 10 for $ 4.45ea. regular price  is $ 5.95. That's a great deal considering we always had to order from the US.
